I have trouble remembering a day where I didn't feel some kind of pressure.
Pressure to be "pretty".
Pressure to be "natural".
Pressure to be "right".
Pressure to be "polite".
Pressure to be "on".
Pressure to be "real".
Pressure to be "humble".
Pressure to be "confident".
Pressure to be "a go-getter".
Pressure to be "less overwhelming".
Where did all this pressure come from?
My parents?
My teachers?
My friends?
My love interests?
Advertising?
Fear?
Shame?
Myself?
The answer is something in there.
Depends on the day.
Is there a way out from under it?
Around it?
When did pressure become such a bad thing?
Doesn't pressure make diamonds?
I am slightly disenchanted with
the social value/meaning of diamonds.
To be determined.
